#10 Wildcats Pull Off the Win

The #10 Wildcats Pull off the win, 68-60. The Villanova Wildcats (10-3) welcomed the UConn Huskies (10-6) to the Arena in what was a battle. The first half was an absolute classic that unveiled 8 ties and 12 lead changes.

The Wildcats defense stiffened and only allowed Connecticut 1 field goal in 6:30 while building their edge. Sophomore James Bouknight led the Huskies with a double-double with 21 points while hauling down 10 rebounds.

Tyrese Martin helped out and just missed a double double of his own with 9 points and 11 boards. RJ Cole chipped in 10 in the defeat. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl led the ‘Nova brigade with a double double of his own ( 17 points, 11 rebounds).

Justin Moore and Jermaine Samuels added 11 points each but the big gun for the Wildcats was Collin Gillespie with his 20 point affair.
