Below is a list of NLL single-season rookie records that could be broken over the last three weeks of the 2021-2022 regular season.
Jeff Teat – F, New York Riptide

- Currently has 52 assists; needs 10 more over the last three games to break the single-season rookie assist record (61) set by Tom Schreiber in 2017
- Currently has 83 points; needs 13 more over the last three games to break the single-season rookie points record (95) set by Randy Staats in 2016
Patrick Dodds – F, Panther City Lacrosse Club

- Currently has 53 assists; needs 9 more over the last two games to break the single-season rookie assist record (61) set by Tom Schreiber in 2017
Reid Bowering – T, Vancouver Warriors

- Currently has 184 loose ball pickups; needs 31 more over the last two games to break the single-season rookie record for loose ball pickups (214) set by Brodie Merrill in 2006
- Currently has 30 caused turnovers; needs 4 more over the last two games to break the single-season rookie record for caused turnovers (33) set by Zach Currier in 2018
Steven Orleman – G, New York Riptide

- Currently has 553 saves; needs 51 saves over the last three games to break the single-season rookie record for saves (603) set by Matt King in 2002
Tyler Biles – D, Rochester Knighthawks

- Currently has 50 penalty minutes; needs 19 PIM over the last three games to break the single-season rookie record for penalty minutes (68) set by Bill O’Brien in 2015
TD Ierlan – D, Toronto Rock

- While Ierlan isn’t close to breaking the record, or even surpassing second place (Trevor Baptiste – 362 in 2019; Jake Withers – 279 in 2018), he currently has 216 faceoff wins. If Ierlan wins 24 more faceoffs over the last two games, he’ll post the third-highest faceoff win total for a rookie in NLL history.

“Muffler” Mike Kostiuk was formally introduced to box lacrosse when he attended a New England Black Wolves game on a whim in 2016. Instantly hooked, he has since become an avid follower of the National Lacrosse League. Following the postponement of the 2019-2020 NLL season, he was offered the chance to share his wealth of statistical knowledge and unique insights with the lacrosse community at large. He cheerfully accepted, and currently serves as Edge of Philly’s correspondent for both the Albany FireWolves and New York Riptide.
