Week Fourteen Totals:

Shawn………………..6-1
Ryan…………………..4-3
“Muffler” Mike……6-1
Gary…………………..4-3

Year to Date:

Gary………………….52-27
Shawn……………….52-27
Ryan………………….46-33
“Muffler” Mike…..44-35

Week Fifteen:

“Muffler” Mike Kostiuk:

HFX @ BUF

Buffalo. If the Thunderbirds couldn’t pull out a win at home, there’s no reason to believe the outcome will change on the road in Banditland.

CGY @ COL

Calgary. The Mammoth are fighting to stay in the playoff race, but Calgary feels like the more consistent team right now.

ALB @ TOR

Toronto. A solid Rock team should bounce back this weekend against a FireWolves team that has looked shaky both on offense and in net.

PHI @ NY

Philadelphia. The Wings took care of business last weekend. Look for them to build on that momentum and try to strengthen their hold on the #4 seed in the East.

SD @ SASK

Saskatchewan. This one may come down to whose goalie doesn’t get pulled. The Rush create some room between themselves and Colorado, while taking a season series.

VAN @ LV

Vancouver. Time for the Warriors to have a month similar to what the Desert Dogs had in February.

ROC @ GA

Georgia. It might be too late for the Swarm to catch a playoff berth, but it’s not too late for them to show the rest of the league what they’re capable of when all cylinders are firing, especially on offense.

Shawn Slaght:

Halifax vs Buffalo

Pick – Buffalo

The Thunderbirds have taken steps backwards in recent weeks and need to right the ship. However, this game is too important for Buffalo as they keep pace with Toronto at the top of the standings.

Calgary vs Colorado

Pick – Calgary

Getting Ryan Lee back in the line up for Colorado has been huge. Will it be enough though? Until someone figures out how to stop Calgary’s transition game I have a hard time betting against them.

Albany vs Toronto

Pick – Toronto

Unfortunately, I don’t see this game being very close. Toronto is in a battle for first place while Albany is in the Dyson Williams sweepstakes.

Philadelphia vs New York

Pick – Philadelphia

This could be the game of the week. It’s two teams that have drastically improved. Picking up Mitch Jones was just what the doctor ordered for Philly and it’ll pay off once again.

San Diego vs Saskatchewan

Pick – Saskatchewan

I’ve been going back and forth on this one. The head says logically San Diego should win, but I feel this Rush team is too good to lose three in a row. Saskatchewan is almost built to compete against a team like San Diego and the Rush offence will come out guns a blazing.

Vancouver vs Las Vegas

Pick – Las Vegas

The Desert Dogs are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and could actually be in the playoff picture. Like Albany, Vancouver is playing for the first overall pick now.

Rochester vs Georgia

Pick – Rochester

Even though I’m picking Rochester, make no mistake this Georgia team is a lot better than their record shows. I think it’ll be a close game but Rylan Hartley will steal.

Gary Groob:

Halifax vs. Buffalo

Buffalo wins.

The Bandits get Chase Fraser back this week as yet another weapon to this juggernaut of a team.  Halifax is too inconsistent, and if they can’t play a full sixty minutes Buffalo will make them pay.

Calgary vs. Colorado

Colorado wins.

Every game is a must win game now for the Mammoth to make the playoffs.  With Ryan Lee and Zed Williams leading the way, they stand a good chance to get to the Roughnecks.  It won’t be a high scoring affair. This should be a great goaltender battle with Christian Del Bianco facing Dillon Ward.

Albany vs. Toronto

Toronto wins.

The Rock are playing their third game inside of a week but are chomping at the bit to get back at it.  The surprise loss to the Wings was a wake up call. They will take their aggression out on the FireWolves.

Philadelphia vs. New York

Philadelphia wins.

This new version of the Wings are exciting to watch.  Mitch Jones compliments Joe Resetarits and Ben McIntosh very well.  Throw in Matt Rambo and Blaze Riorden and you have a dangerous team.  Philadelphia took the Riptide to the woodshed last week. This should be more of the same.

San Diego vs. Saskatchewan

San Diego wins.

While they don’t win pretty, they win nonetheless.  Look for Dickson, Dobbie and Berg to pressure Alex Buque early to try and get an early lead.

Vancouver vs. Las Vegas

Vancouver wins.

Aaron Bold has been a breath of fresh air in the Warriors net.  With the signing of Dean Fairall, Vancouver has a number of weapons that will test Landon Kells in the Vegas net all night.

Rochester vs. Georgia

Rochester wins.

While Georgia is on a two game winning streak, Rochester is too much for this Swarm team to handle.  Look for Connor Fields, Holden Cattoni, Thomas Hoggarth, and Ryan Smith to pressure the Swarm all night.  The Knighthawks defense doesn’t get the respect it deserves, but they will make it very tough on the Swarm all game long.

Ryan McMichael:

Halifax vs. Buffalo

Buffalo Bandits

Calgary vs. Colorado

Calgary Roughnecks

Albany vs. Toronto

Toronto Rock

Philadelphia vs. New York

Philadelphia Wings

San Diego vs. Saskatchewan

San Diego Seals

Vancouver vs. Las Vegas

Las Vegas Desert Dogs

Rochester vs. Georgia

Rochester Knighthawks
