“Muffler” Mike Kostiuk:

BUF @ ROC

Rochester. Simply put, this is a huge statement game for the Knighthawks. I believe they will rise to the occasion in front of the home crowd.

VAN @ LV

Vancouver. Having finally gotten in the win column last week, the Warriors will look to build momentum and get back into the thick of the West Division.

NY @ ALB

Albany. The FireWolves keep finding a way to win games (or at least keep them close) despite not having a faceoff specialist and the defense not being at 100% health. It will become their motivation for the rest of the year to prove doubters wrong.

TOR @ PHI

Philadelphia. Going out on a limb here, but I think the Wings will be fired up to erase the memory of the last-minute loss to Panther City last week, and pull off the upset.

Shawn Slaght:

Buffalo vs Rochester

Pick – Rochester

This will be the measuring stick for the Knighthawks. Are they for real? I think they are. They may not be a team full of superstars but they are one of the most well-rounded teams.

Vancouver vs Las Vegas

Pick – Vancouver

This was actually a tough call. I think Vancouver got a bit of a bump last week with all the front office moves. I’m going to have to go with them again this week. Las Vegas’ offence just isn’t scaring anyone when Rob Hellyer is the only one producing.

Toronto vs Philadelphia

Pick – Toronto

This is an interesting game. Toronto is starting to play up to their potential, while Philly has yet to show their potential. Unfortunately, until Philly works out whatever is going wrong, I have to go with the Rock.

New York vs Albany

Pick – Albany

The Riptide made some blockbuster moves this week, but I’m not sure if it’ll be enough to turn the ship around. Albany has been holding its ground even with some key injuries. It could be a close game, but I like how the Firewolves are playing.

Gary Groob:

Buffalo Bandits vs. Rochester Knighthawks

Rochester wins.

This is the measuring stick for the Knighthawks. Both teams are exciting, with young stars and great goaltending. The small edge I give to the Knighthawks is their transition game. I feel they are quicker, and more explosive. If Matt Vinc isn’t on his game, thus could get out of hand.

Vancouver Warriors vs. Las Vegas Desert Dogs

Las Vegas wins.

The Desert Dogs are not going winless this year, and in my opinion, is their best chance to win.  It will be a special night, as the teams first win ever will take place at home.

Toronto Rock vs. Philadelphia Wings

Toronto wins.

The Rock’s defense is second to none, and will frustrate the Wings all game. The deep offense has come to life, and will give Zach Higgins/Angus Goodleaf all they can handle for an afternoon.

New York Riptide vs. Albany FireWolves

Albany wins.

While New York has changed their look with blockbuster trades, these will take a week or two to gel.  Albany has been surprisingly good even with all their injuries.   Doug Jamieson will be spectacular in net for the FireWolves, basically stealing this game for Albany.

John Craig:

Buffalo vs Rochester

Pick – Buffalo

I have a funny feeling I’m gonna hate myself for this one. But this is the one game I always wanted to win. Playing in Rochester to be a pain right the backside!

Vancouver vs Las Vegas

Pick – Las Vegas

Toronto vs Philadelphia

Pick – Toronto

New York vs Albany

Pick – Albany

Ryan McMichael:

Buffalo Bandits vs. Rochester Knighthawks

Pick: Buffalo

Vancouver Warriors vs. Las Vegas Desert Dogs

Pick: Las Vegas

Toronto Rock at Philadelphia Wings

Pick: Toronto

New York Riptide vs. Albany FireWolves

Pick:  Albany
