3-Round Mock Draft: The Eagles will Soar with these Picks

Everybody buckle up and sit tight because it’s mock up draft season!

Wondering what direction the Birds go and who could be available? We got you covered! Edge of Philly Sports is your Eagles Draft Central.

For this Mock we are just gonna focus on the first few rounds. Let’s get started!

With a couple handfuls of draft picks for 2020 the Eagles have the rare opportunity to really replenish the much needed youth for this roster. The 3 positions that stand out the most are the Secondary, Wide Receivers and the Offensive Line.

Secondary:

Cornerbacks Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills, and Safety Rodney McLeod will all be Free Agents, not to mention the current Malcom Jenkins contract dispute. The Secondary needs to be addressed early and with multiple picks.

Wide Receiver:

Nelson Agholor is not expected to return. Alshon Jeffery is out with a Lisfranc injury that required surgery with a timeline of 9-12 months of rehab. Even with the emergence of Greg Ward Jr, Howie needs to get a couple more weapons to surround Carson with the much needed talent, youth, and speed he needs to succeed.

Offensive Line:

This one is real simple. Jason Peters is OLD, Vatai is a Free Agent and Jason Kelce is always rumored to retire just about every off-season. Howie has already started to turnover the Offensive Line. Andre Dillard to replace Peters at Left Tackle and Isaac Seumalo to be the heir apparent to Kelce at Center. Guard is the next position of need.

Happy Draft Season Everyone!

It’s gonna be a fun one!
