“Muffler” Mike Kostiuk:
HFX @ BUF
Halifax.
The Thunderbirds show why they are atop the league’s Power Rankings with a dominant performance on the road.
SD @ CGY
San Diego.
The Seals will be out to prove that they are more than just escape artists when it comes to narrow victories.
PCLC @ SASK
Saskatchewan.
The Rush know they are a better team than what they showed in allowing San Diego to come back from a huge deficit two weeks ago.
Shawn Slaght:
Buffalo vs Halifax
Pick – Halifax
I think this will be the game of the week. If Halifax wants to show they are the real deal, this is the statement game. Buffalo is still a playoff-worthy team, but they aren’t the dominant team they once were.
San Diego vs Calgary
Pick – Calgary
I’m going with an upset. On paper, San Diego is a better team but I think the Roughnecks match up well against them. With an aging offence with Curtis Dickson, Dane Dobbie and Kevin Crowley, the last thing the Seals want is to get into a track meet up and down the floor, which is Calgary’s bread and butter. Del Bianco will need to be at the top of his game and there is no reason to believe he won’t be.
Panther City vs Saskatchewan
Pick – Saskatchewan
The Rush had two weeks to stew on what has against San Diego and they are going to be a motives bunch. The x-factor will be the health of Kyle Rubisch and Ryan Dilks. Panther City continues to improve but they are running into a Rush team that’ll be out for blood.
Gary Groob:
Halifax vs. Buffalo
Halifax wins.
If the Bandits can come up with a gameplan equal to what they accomplished with Toronto, they have a chance to win. However, the Thunderbirds are the most complete team in the league to this point.
San Diego vs. Calgary
San Diego wins.
Although the Seals have not been wowing the league with their play, they are still 2-0. The Roughnecks are 2-0 as well, but have beaten Vancouver in both of those games. This is Calgary’s litmus test.
PCLC vs. Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan wins.
I have said it before, I like this Rush team’s character. Panther City is 2-1, but both wins were against expansion Vegas. I am curious to see how they play against next level competition.
John Craig:
Halifax vs. Buffalo
Halifax Thunderbirds
San Diego vs. Calgary
San Diego Seals
Panther City vs. Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan Rush
Ryan McMichael:
Halifax Thunderbirds vs. Buffalo Bandits
Halifax (if it even happens)
Most of Buff’s studs inside all week, no coulth is gonna hurt. Also Halifax is a GD wagon.
San Diego Seals vs. Calgary Roughnecks
Calgary
Mouse is mouse, been prepping for this game since 17 left and changed to 71. Necks a firing rn, Delbs being delbs(and he’s my fake nephew so I’m biased) Tanner Cook is gonna be a problem for ds all year.
Panther City LC vs. Saskatchewan Rush
Saskatchewan
Just don’t think PCLC goalies can hang with Sask O. This is gonna be the best game of the weekend #Fricksthoughts
