76ers Cruise to a Game 2 Victory!

On the pregame show on the Edge Of Philly Sports Network the boys said the Sixers would handle business. From jump street, the Philadelphia 76ers came to handle business down at the Wells Fargo Center. As the 76ers cruised to a Game 2 victory, they showed they can take over a game at any time. The roughly 11,000 fans that came out to the WFC tonight we’re treated to an amazing show from both their starters and their bench. Tobias Harris did leave the court in the 2nd quarter. He still ended up with 19 and 9 coming back after getting taped up.

Bradley Beal got his dropping 33 pts 4 rebs 3 asst but it was nowhere near enough to stop this Sixers team. Westbrook dropped only 10 points as he appeared helpless while the 76ers cruised to a game 2 victory. Joel Embiid had another strong performance with 22 pts, 7 rebs, 3 asst in the game 2 victory. He also drained a couple of threes in the process.

But the big star of tonight’s game was Ben Simmons, His 22 points have him tied for team-high with Embiid and his 9 rebs and 8 asst. had him knocking on a triple-doubles door. The 4th quarter showcased much of the bench who looked really good down the stretch. The Sixers did lose Seth Curry in the 2nd half. That got Maxey some more floor time in a 10 point effort from him. Even rookie Paul Reed contributed 4 points as the 76ers cruised to a game 2 victory.
