76ers Get Shell Shocked By The Trail Blazers

The Philadelphia 76ers just got shell shocked by the Portland Trail Blazers. The 76ers dropped their third straight game, dealing with a bundle of injuries without Joel Embiid, Tyreese Maxey, and D’ Anthony Melton. Even though it looked like the 76ers were handling this game in the first half however, the Trail Blazers were still hanging around, and in the second half, the Trail Blazers took over—also in this game where Philly’s bench came up cold as far as offense. Nic Batum had a disappointing night. With 24 mins and only 3 points. I hope this loss makes a big turnaround for the 76ers as they get ready to face the Golden State Warriors for a back-to-back.

Former 76ers came to play

The Trail Blazers came to play, and Jerami Grant (Former 76ers and now small-forward for the Trail Blazers) put up 27 points. He was creating his shots. Grant did a great job ball handling and negating to the rim. He did a number on his old team, just picking apart this 76ers defense. Malcolm Brogdon is another TrailBlazer with a huge scoring performance. Brogdon had 24 points up on the night and did a great job with ball movement. Jabari Walker had 12 rebounds for Portland. Deandre Ayton made some big plays with no Joel Embiid in the paint. Deandre had 18pts with some nice dunks.

Kelly Oubre Jr The Bright Spot In This Game

If you were looking for a bright spot in this game, look no further than Kelly Oubre Jr.. Despite the fact Oubre Jr. went 0-5 from three-point land. He was still able to put up 25 points for the 76ers. He was dynamic with taking the rock to the rim. Kelly Oubre Jr. picked up 6 rebounds and gave credit to Patrick Beverly, coming through with 14 points and 5 assists.
