A King’s Ransom

The Philadelphia 76ers stole a W from the Los Angeles Clippers this past Sunday afternoon, winning 121-107 and looking to end this West Coast swing on a good note by going 2-2 on the road. However, the Sacramento Kings have now won 3 out of 4 games, just beating the Orlando Magic, now back at hosting Philly. The 76ers enter this game without Kelly Oubre Jr. Kelly Oubre Jr. is one of Philly’s key players with his aggressiveness to take the ball to the rim and his ability to get rebounds. Nick Nurse (the Philadelphia 76ers head coach) would have to make some big adjustments. It would have taken a King’s ransom to get Philly the win.

Tyrese Maxey On Fire In The First Half

Tyrese Maxey was sessional in the first half. Scoring coming through, hitting his pull-back jumpers, cutting to the rim, dropping his floater baskets, and catching this Kings team off guard. He played exceptionally well. He would record 5′ three-pointers. At one point, he outscored The Kings’ roster in the first half. It was hard for Sacramento to keep past with Tyrese Maxey. Tyrese Maxey would try to set the tone by cutting to the basket and drawing for the three-point play. I love where he drove the ball between two defenders, and the finger layup finished.

The Kings Working As A United

You have to hand it to the Sacramento Kings for working as a united from start to bench pieces. Domantas Sabonis had a terrific game down low in the paint, where he could record a triple-double, finding teammates open to cutting to the baskets. De’Aaron Fox and Keegan Murray both players put up 23 points each. Plus, Davion Mitchell is also making an impact, with 18 points in the game. Next up for the Kings, they have Dallas on the schedule, a team behind them in the standings. It should be interesting to see how that plays out.
