Eastern Conference Player of the Week: Ben Simmons!

Gotta give it to Ben. He has been playing on another level since the injury of Joel Embiid. It seems Simmons has finally taken that needed step forward to put this team on his shoulders. In fact, this to me raises the question once again of can Ben and Joel play together. Let’s face it, this Sixers team as a whole have been playing faster and being able to spread the court more without Embiid. But, that is a discussion for another day.

Including today’s, MLK Holiday afternoon ballgame. Ben has put up 20+ points in each game along with being a defensive force.
