Breaking Down The Hornets Nest In Philly

The Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Charlotte Hornets. This one came down to the wire. Both teams were trying to prevent their third straight loss however Philly would edge Charlotte in this game. The Hornets dealt with a couple of injuries throughout the game. They lost small forward Cody Martin and shooting guard Seth Curry. To Charlotte’s credit, they put up a good fight. Miles Bridges came to play with 5 three-pointer, 11 rebounds, and 27 points he gave the 76ers defense the fits. Nick Richards put up 19 points, and Charlotte’s bench did an excellent job putting up points.

Tobias Harris With A Breakout Game

Tobias Harris had a breakout game, putting up a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds and dropping five threes from beyond the arch. He was sharp in the first half of this game, unloading from the corner, doing physical work inside the paint hitting a couple of baskets and had a fantastic dunk I am glad to see Tobias Harris have a bounce back game, hopefully this momentum heading into Dallas against that tough Maverick’s team. If Philly can pull out the upset, that will speak volumes to that locker room.

Kyle Lowery’s Huge Role

Kyle Lowery (the 76ers point guard) played a huge role in this game he was creating space on the floor the Philly native was put up 15 points he also had 10 assist he played very well against his old team. Paul Reed had himself a good game coming off the bench with 11 points and 8 rebounds and of course Tyrese Maxey in the second half was just unstoppable with 33 points, jacking up 5 three’s from the perimeter. Tyrese Maxey just was sensational on the court tonight. I liked what I saw from Nick Nurse tonight as well, tweaking the starting lineup.
