Cabrini Still Rolling, 14-2

The defending DIIi Men’s Lacrosse Champions, the Cabrini Cavaliers opened the 2020 season with a trip to nearby Haverford.

With a 51 shot game, Cabrini was no match for the home team. Five different goal scorers put the Cavs to a 6-0 lead.

Kohn Wesner (2g,1a) notched his first collegiate market with help from Mike Gerzabek (2a) and Cabrini was on their way.

Jake Klein set up Matt Loparo (2g), Kyle Tucker (2g) with help from Wesner, Jake Klein (2g,4a), Klein setting up Tyler Kostack (2g,2a) on the man up and Wesner closed the opening stanza.

The deluge continued when Loparo and another man-up marker, this one courtesy of Austin Bolton(2g) put the visitors in front, 8-0.

Finally, after 24:40, Brian Geffroy (2g) converted a pretty feed from Wyatt Feinberg (2a) and Haverford was on the board.

Cabrini quickly answered with Kostack feeding Klein to get it to 9-1.

Geffroy hit rope again to close the first half with Cabrini firmly in charge, 9-2.

Bobby Griffith (1g), Kyle Tucker and Kostack moved it to 12-2.

The final two tallies were registered by Bolton and Griffin Shira (1g).
