Chicago Bulls Having The Sixers Number

The Philadelphia 76ers would enter this game against the Chicago Bulls with little rest as they come into the south side from the before beating the Houston Rockets with Tyrese Maxey dropping 42 points. The Chicago Bulls would take advantage of a tired 76ers team. The majority of the 76ers bench didn’t play well. Patrick Bevelery with 24 minutes and only 4 points, same for Marcus Morris Sr., almost 20 minutes and 4 points. I think Nick Nurse should have utilized some of his other bench rotations players just to keep some fresh legs rolling, especially in back-to-back game situations where keeping fresh legs is key. Do the Chicago Bulls have the Sixers number?

DeMar DeRozan and Coby White

DeMar DeRozan had a huge night of scoring with 24 points. He had the most pts in this game. He was soiled driving the rock to the net. DeMar DeRozan was good with the catch-and-shoot. He wasn’t worried about who was guarding him. DeRozan was on fire tonight. He was finding ways to the basket. DeMar DeRozan had a great vision of finding Andre Drummond in the paint. Coby White had 20 points and 8 rebounds in this game; without Joel Embiid, the 76ers were very vulnerable on the defensive end.

Nic Batum

Nic Batum is back in action for the 76ers. He was productive on offense. Nic Batum had 9 points from the primtinter, very successful shooting from the corners. On the one play, Tobias Harris (76ers power-forward) dishes the basketball out to Nic Batum from the corner. Nic Batum, while shooting the ball, didn’t look like he had great balance. However, the was effective. Nic Batum and Tobias Harris had great team christy on the floor together.

Nic Batum made a nice pass to Tobias Harris, allowing him to make a slam dunk! Even though the 76ers didn’t get the outcome they were looking for. Come Tuesday, the 76ers get the rematch in South Philly, which gives more time for Nic Batum to make it with Nick Nurse’s playbook coming back from injury.
