Clash of The Titans of the NFC East

The Philadelphia Eagles were coming off another huge NFC East showdown, last week beating the Washington Commanders 38-31. AJ Brown continued to play hard as he put in 6 straight weeks of 125-plus receiving yards. The Eagles won their second straight divisional game. This time, it was against the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys won 2 straight games. They dominated LA by beating the Chargers and the Rams. The Cowboys came into South Philly looking to assert dominance in the NFC East with the momentum they had going for them. This was the clash of the Titans of the NFC East.

17 for 207 yards, completions and 2 touchdowns, 10 carries for 36 yards, and a touchdown. Jalen Hurts just doesn’t know when to quit. He wants to go toe-to-toe with Dak Prescott. He looked poise in the pocket. When he couldn’t find anyone open, he used his legs for positive yards. Right before the half, he got popped in the leg and looked to be shaken up. However, that did not stop him from wanting to get off the field.

To start the second half. The Eagles would bundle up a couple of running plays, and then Jalen Hurts would drop a dime right into the hands of Jalen Hurts. The next time, the Eagles had possession of the football. Jalen Hurts would go to his main man, AJ Brown, in the endzone. Jalen Hurts might have been shaken up after that to his leg, but he rattled the Cowboys’ defense. Just when the Eagles got the football at their one-yard line, the fans had questions about Jalen Hurts knee. Jalen Hurts answers with a quarterback sneak.

Don’t Forget About Brandon Graham

Since last week, I think Eric Bieniemy (Washinton Commander offense coordinator) has been doing the film work and finding out to expose the Eagles’ secondary. Dak Prescott took full advantage of that. Dak Prescott did a great job of spreading the football around, exposing the Eagle’s middle of the field.

Cee Dee Lamb would have a big day. 11 catches for 191 yards. When it looked like the Cowboys were going to strike in the red zone, Brandon Graham came up with a huge sack. On the last drive, the Eagles were causing bad penalties, walking the Cowboys into their endzone. Josh Sweat would make a big stop. The last play was a last-ditch effort for Dallas. Prescott throws for 23 yards to Lamb, about four yards shy of the endzone. The Eagles’ secondary swarmed, and the Linc erupted. Philly enters the bye week on 8-1 and in the first spot of the NFC East and the NFL overall.
