RMU jumped out to a 4-0 lead with the onslaught in just 5:46. Duke cut it to 4-1 but Bob Morris pushed it to 5-1. That’s when Duke woke up and flexed their defensive arms and held RMU scoreless for 31:48 while chipping away and building a lead. Nakeie Montgomery set the pace for Duke with a 3 goal 1 helper game.
Duke had 16 players register at least one point. Cameron Badour notched a hat trick. Phil Robertson and Dyson Williams each had a pair. Phenom, Michael Sowers contributed three assists to move his early season total to six.
