For the Eagles, the top priority should be any draft talent that could help them in the future. A piece they definitely need is a linebacker. We haven’t had a good linebacker going back to Seth Joyner, Hugh Douglas and Jeremiah Trotter.

Dylan Moses was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is 6″3′ 240 pounds and is what the Eagles need at linebacker. The Eagles haven’t had a good linebacker in a very long time and he might fall to them in the second or third round. According to the scouts, Moses is a very underrated linebacker. New Eagles Defensive Coordinator, Jonathan Gannon is linebacker expert and so this could be a good fit with the Eagles.
In his 2017 rookie season, he recorded 30 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The next year he was Second All Team and Second Team All-SEC. He has a winning pedigree as well. At Alabama, he won two SEC Championships and two National Championships.
High Level Comparisons
There are high level comparisons to great linebackers like Donta Hightower, CJ Mosley and even Derrick Thomas. This has to tell you something about this kid that could make for a special talent for the Eagles and the NFL. However, the one flaw is a bit concerning because it is due to injury. It could be another Sidney Jones situation all over again and if he falls to the Eagles. Dylan Moses lost his speed after a serious injury back in 2019. When he is fully healthy he will be the dominant player that you wish would have on your team

After this last two seasons, Could the third time be charm to draft an SEC guy? Is Dylan Moses the answer? We will found out soon enough at the end of April when the Eagles are on the clock. Click Here for more Philadelphia Eagles and NFL Draft Coverage.
