The Philadelphia Eagles (3-7-1) travel to the Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers (8-3). The Eagles are coming off a third straight loss as the team seems to be free falling to the bottom of the NFC East. The Packers are coming off a blowout win on Sunday night football where they shredded a great Bears defense. The Pack look like true Super Bowl Contenders. Can the Eagles go into Lambeau and win back to back years? What are the Keys to the Game?
Eagles Offense vs Anyone
Does it even matter anymore? The Eagles need to score points to win football games. They rank 25th in points per game which doesn’t bode well for Sunday. Carson Wentz is throwing a league-high 15 interceptions and taking a league-high 46 sacks. You can blame the offensive line. You can blame Carson for not getting them ball out on time and you can blame the receivers for not getting off man coverage. Sometimes Carson misses a wide open read other times the receivers are running a completely wrong route. The play calling is awful and sometimes mind boggling? Will Doug give up the play calling?
Oh wait he already has? UGH, what a mess!
Packers Offensive Line vs Eagles Defensive Line
As a football fan, this is a very intriguing matchup to see who comes out on top. The Packers offensive line could be the best in football. Pro Football Focus says Green Bay has had clean pocket for Aaron Rodgers 77.8% of the time. The Eagles defensive line ranks 6th in pass rush and tied for second in the NFL in sacks with 36. The Packers will be without arguably the best center in the league, Corey Linsley which gives the Eagles an advantage in regards to this matchup. If the Eagles have any shot of winning this Sunday the defensive line will have cracked the dominant Packers pass protections. If Rodgers has all day to throw you may be turning the game off by halftime.

Packers Offense
The Green Bay Packers offense seems to be really coming into its own in the second year of Matt Lafleur. The Packers run a lot of play action and pre snap motion, mixing in some run pass option with jet sweeps. Aaron Rodgers has completely bought in to the system and is looking like an MVP with 3100 yards passing and 33 touchdown passes through just 12 weeks. The Packers love to use running backs vertically down the field out of the backfield. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Adams have combined for 60 catches for 473 yards and 3 TDs just as receivers out of the backfield. Jones & Adams combined for 1,033 rushing yards as well.
Have we mentioned Davante Adams yet? He has 74 catches for 908 yards in just 9 games. For comparison, the Eagles top two wide receivers have a combined 74 receptions for only 761 yards. We have seen the Eagles defense struggle with staying in their gaps against these types of offenses all season. Top wide receiver talent has been an issue too. Sounds like it could be on of those days for the defense on Sunday.
Prediction Time
The Philadelphia Eagles are 8.5 point underdogs as of December 4th at 8:10am. The Eagles offense has given us nothing to think there is any semblance of a chance. The only chance the Eagles have of winning are turnovers leading to points. Sunday will be an epic and embarrassing blowout loss.
