Explorers Stomp Spiders

The Explorers stomp the Spiders in an 84-78 victory. In an explosive score fest in Richmond, Virginia, the LaSalle Explorers (7-8) upset pre-season Conference fave, the Richmond Spiders (9-4).

Sherif Kenney (17 points) led the scoring circus for LaSalle, double-digit outputs would rule this tilt. Jared Kimbrough was good for 12 points, with Christian Ray throwing down 11. Jhamir Brickus, Scott Spencer, and Jack Clark hit the stat sheet with each knocking back 10.

For Richmond, Grant Golden posted a season-high 22 points and Blake Francis accounted for 21. Tyler Burton picked up 16 points and 12 boards.
