WEEK 13 STARTS AND SITS
One of the most exciting weeks of the fantasy football year is week 13. Will you get in the Playoffs? Will you get a Bye? In some leagues (My opinion too early), the playoffs will start today. If your season is over you can always make a daily fantasy lineup through Drafkings or Fanduel too. Who are my Week 13 Starts and Sits?
STARTS
START QB – Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings) – Cousins has 11 Touchdown passes in the last 4 weeks while averaging over 300 yards passing in the last three. The Jaguars have given up 23 touchdown passes and 3,074 yards passing so could be a huge day for Kirk. He is available in 62% of ESPN leagues as well. You Like That?
START RB – David Montgomery (Chicago Bears) – We jumped on this train last week and are going to ride it through Week 13 too.
START WR – Nelson Agholor (Oakland Raiders) – Nelson is having a great season in his role with the Raiders. He has only gone back to back weeks without a touchdown only once this year. Last week he didn’t have a touchdown so I think this week he will against a bad Jets pass defense.
START TE – Mike Gesicki (Miami Dolphins) – Mediocre season but a great matchup against the Bengals.
START D/ST – Miami Dolphins – Brandon Allen is the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
SITS
SIT – QB – Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers): I am going to apply the same logic used when the Patriots slowed down Kyler Murray. Bill Belichick just finds ways to take away the strengths of opposing offenses, especially when the quarterback is a rookie.
SIT – RB – Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints): Yup I am going to this well again and will probably be called crazy again. Maybe it is crazy but the ability of Alvin Kamara to catch the ball out of the backfield his a huge component to his fantasy success. He has 1 catch for -2 yards in two weeks with Taysom Hill at quarterback. There has also been an uptick in Latavius Murray usage as well (19 Carries, 124 yards and 2 touchdowns last week).
SIT – WR – Amari Cooper (Dallas Cowboys): Tough Matchup against the Ravens who were able to keep the Steelers offense in check last week. Marcus Peters should be matched up on Cooper.
SIT – TE – Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles): Zach Ertz is back and the Packers rank 4th against the TE position in fantasy football.
SIT – D/ST – Houston Texans: Great week last week against the Lions but the Colts may dominate coming off a loss to the Titans.
