Week 8 was not my best for fantasy football starts and sits. No way to defend it because it was just a terrible week. Lets move on to my Week 9 Starts and Sits!
STARTS
START – QB – Josh Allen (Seahawks): After 4 mediocre weeks, it is time to jump back on the Josh Allen train. The Seahawks Defense is coming to town!
START – RB – James Robinson (Jaguars): Robinson ended Week 7 as the #2 rated back in fantasy football for that week. The Jaguars have a great matchup with the Texans who are 30th against the fantasy football running backs.
START – WR – Jerry Jeudy (Broncos): Jeudy had a season high 10 targets last week. I expect the target share to increase for the second half of the season for the rookie. Love the Falcons matchup too!
START – TE – Evan Engram (Giants): Engram made some nice plays on Monday Night Football. He had 10 targets with a Redskins defense that ranks 23rd against fantasy football tight ends.
START – D/ST – New England Patriots: The Steelers is the obvious pick vs the Cowboys. Patriots against a terrible Jets offense could be just as good.
SITS
SIT – QB – Lamar Jackson (Ravens): Jackson faced a top defense in the Pittsburgh Steelers last week and had an average showing as far as fantasy football is concerned. The Colts defense is on that level too.
SIT – RB – Todd Gurley (Falcons): The sit Gurley week has finally come with a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos.
SIT – WR – D.J. Chark (Jaguars): Gardner Minshew is out again. Chark had only 1 catch on 7 targets his last outing.
SIT – TE – Dalton Schultz (Cowboys): He had a solid week last week against the Eagles. The Steelers Linebackers are a different story.
SIT – D/ST – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Some think this is the top defense in the league. Michael Thomas returns to action for the Saints and Brees typically shows out during prime time games.
That’s for my Week 9 fantasy football Starts & Sits. Good Luck Everyone!
