FANTASY FOOTBALL STARTS and SITS

Last week was a terrible week for me. I missed on both my starts and sits except for basically the Miami Dolphins D/ST. Good thing Week 7 is a new week. Here are my starts and sits:

STARTS

START – QB – Matthew Stafford (Lions): The matchup was there last week but only 15 points for Stafford. Unfortunately for us, the lines kept most of their 34 points on the ground. The Falcons, ranked 32and against fantasy football quarterbacks, pose another great matchup so value is here once again.

START – RB – Ronald Jones II (Bucs): He has been riding multiple benches in my leagues but I am officially a believer. Jones is a must start after posting 100 plus yards 3 weeks in a row. The Raiders rank 30th against fantasy running backs too.

START – WR – Terry McLaurin (Wash): The Cowboys pass defense has been awful. McLaurin averages 9.7 targets per game so his floor will be solid at the very least.

START – TE – TJ Hockenson (Lions): Doubling up on the QB and TE? TJ scored a touchdown last week but only 2 catches. The matchup vs the Falcons invites more targets. I expect more this week from Hockenson.

START – D/ST – Buffalo Bills: The Bills have had back to back terrible weeks on defense. Actually, they have been pretty underwhelming all year. The Jets are a team you should look to stream against every week. This will be a great week for the Bills to get back rolling.

SITS

SIT – QB – Ryan Tannehill (Titans): Tannehill has posted back to back 35+ point weeks and looks like a top 5 NFL quarterback. He has yet to face a top defense and this week is the Steelers. I am holding against the Steelers because they rank 5th against fantasy football quarterbacks.

SIT – RB – Ezekiel Elliot (Cowboys): The Cowboys offense looked awful last week. Zeke had 2 fumbles which forced McCarthy to play Tony Pollard for a lot more snaps then expected as well. The Redskins rank 8th against fantasy running backs and Vegas sees this game as pretty close with the 1 point spread.

SIT – WR – Will Fuller IV (Texans): Will Fuller went off last week but expect him to cool off against the Packers defense. The Pack rank 6th against fantasy football wide receivers even with last weeks terrible performance against Tampa.

SIT – TE – Rob Gronkowski (Bucs): Gronk had his best week as a Buccaneer last week. I don’t expect the targets to stay high and he will be back to what we have seen most of the season. The Raiders are pretty solid against the tight end as well.

SIT – D/ST – Cleveland Browns: I keep seeing the Browns projected as a top defense this week against the Bengals. In Week 2, the Bengals had no problem moving the ball. I am not using the Browns.

That’s for my Week 7 fantasy football Starts & Sits. Good Luck Everyone!
