FANTASY FOOTBALL STARTS & SITS

Another solid fantasy football STARTS & SITS for Week 4! Fitz-magic scared early but pulled in a 20+ point performance. OBJ killed it and even rushed for a 73 yard touchdown. The only sit I regretted was Ronald Jones III who definitely showed as a number one back last week. So onto Week 5! The Broncos & Patriots game was moved to next Sunday so get those Pats and Bills out of your lineups! The Bills and Titans are set for Tuesday 7:00PM as of now. We will have updates barring any postponed or cancelled games.

STARTS

START – QB – Teddy Bridgewater – Bridgewater is on most waiver wires and has been up and down. He is coming off a 30 point week and faces the Falcons who are 32nd in the league against quarterbacks.

START – RB – Cylde Edwards-Helaire – Cylde has been pretty steady averaging around 17 points per game. Sunday could be an explosion against the Raiders.

START – WR – Adam Thielen – He had eight catches for 114 yards and a touchdown last week. He should do much of the same against the worst pass defense in football.

START – TE – Evan Engram – Engram had 10 targets last week and is one of the few weapons Daniel Jones has on offense. The Cowboys are terrible at covering the tight end so should be a great matchup. (Eric Ebron is another good one against the terrible Philadelphia Eagles Linebackers)

START – D/ST – Patriots – The only thing that can hold this up is no practice because of Covid and the messed up schedules. The Broncos offense is that bad that it doesn’t matter.

SITS

SIT – QB – Carson Wentz – You may have cut him or maybe you still believe in him. Wentz has back to back 23+ point weeks so the arrow is pointing up. I wouldn’t take the chance against the Steelers defense. (As a homer, I might take the chance but its a dumb move)

SIT – RB – Kareem Hunt – Hunt may be the bell cow now with the injury to Nick Chubb. I will wait to find out how he fairs after his matchup against the #3 vs running backs ranked fantasy defense Colts.

SIT – WR – AJ Green – I am not sure if he is still even on your roster at this point. AJ had 21 targets combined week 1 and 2 but only 11 total for week 3 and 4. The Ravens are middle of the pack against fantasy wide receivers. Its time to call it quits after his 1 catch 3 yard performance against the Jaguars.

SIT – TE – Zach Ertz – Right now, he is the Eagles only weapon so defenses will key on him. Minkah Fitzpatrick and Terrell Edmunds have had the position locked down so far this season. Opposing No. 1 tight ends the Steelers have faced have a combined stat line of 8 receptions on 15 targets for 94 yards and 1 touchdown. 6.3 yards per target and 31 yards per game to tight ends that have each averaged 40+ yards against other teams this season.

SIT – D/ST – Cowboys – They are projected around 9+ points in most leagues. I know the Giants offense stinks right now but I wouldn’t take the chance. The Cowboys defense has looked that bad and is the reason for their terrible start to the season.

That is it for my Week 5 fantasy football Starts & Sits. Good Luck Everyone!
