Week 5 is a Wrap!!! Clyde Edwards-Helaire was MEH last week while Carson Wentz turned it around having another good fantasy football week. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 313 yards and 2 touchdowns! Only 2 targets for Evan Engram but luckily one of them was a touchdown. The Covid scares seem to be under control this week with all games scheduled to be played as scheduled or rescheduled. Anyone hype for a 5pm Monday Night Football Game double header? I AM! Here are my Week 6 Starts & Sits!
STARTS
START – QB – Matthew Stafford (Lions): The Jaguars have given up 1401 yards through the air and Vegas has the over under set around 55. The Lions are coming into the game off a BYE Week and 3 TD pass performance from Stafford.
START – RB – Alexander Mattison (Vikings): Dalvin Cook is OUT and so Mattison will get the start. He went off for 112 yards on 20 carries in relief duty last week. He is as good of a back up as they come and will most likely start elsewhere when his contract is up. The Falcons rank middle of the pack against the run but expect a heavy dose from the Vikings.
START – WR – JuJu Smith-Schuster (Steelers): I see people jumping off the JuJu bandwagon but I don’t think time is up yet. The Browns have given up 1482 yards through the air ranking 29th against the pass.
START – TE – Mark Andrews (Ravens): Google the Philadelphia Eagles Linebackers. Enough Said.
START – D/ST – Miami Dolphins: The Jets are a mess with Joe Flacco at quarterback. The Dolphins have caused 6 turnovers and 11 sacks in their last 3 games.
SITS
SIT – QB – Carson Wentz (Eagles): This is a Philadelphia sports website and I LOVE Carson Wentz. The Ravens defensive line against an inexperienced and injured Eagles offensive line could be be a problem. Carson has posted 20 plus for 3 weeks straight but I would air on the side of caution.
SIT – RB – Joe Mixon (Bengals): Joe Mixon has been underwhelming this year. I do not see that improving against a Colts defense that ranks 2nd against fantasy football running backs.
SIT – WR – DJ Moore (Panthers): Great week but the targets are way down compared to Robby Anderson. The matchup against the Bears doesn’t help any either. (I wouldn’t jump on the Chase Claypool train just yet either)
SIT – TE – Hayden Hurst (Falcons): If I own Hurst it would be time for me to start streaming tight ends. The targets are around 6 per game but outside of Week 2 vs the Cowboys production is not there.
SIT – D/ST – Pittsburgh Steelers: The Philadelphia Eagles with no weapons somehow put up 29 points on the Steelers. They may have unlocked something the Browns can use this week against the Steelers.
That’s for my Week 6 fantasy football Starts & Sits. Good Luck Everyone!
