Flyers Drop another Lead, 2–1 to the Bruins. Stop me if you heard this…Flyers blew yet another lead.
James Van Riemsdyk continues to have a hot hand and put Philly up, 1-0 with help from Gustafsson and Captain Claude Giroux. As per the blueprint, team Philadelphia hand the lead and game to the Boston Bruins, 2-1. A simple dump and chase for a Philly win (7-3-2) was once again, made complicated.

The Bruins (8-1-2) hit gold with goals just :27 apart when the despicable Brad Marchand continued to be hot and picked up his 12th point in Eight games (6 g, 6a) to get it even. Quickly followed by the game-winner from Sean Kulray to give the B’s their eighth straight game with a point in the tightly contested Division

Joel Farabee was denied on a penalty shot. The first fight of the season featured Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Connor Clifton in a bout that Clifton won.
