The Philadelphia Flyers after losing 6 out of their last 7 games. Especially this past Tuesday night, when they lost to the winless San Jos Sharks. San Jose Sharks lost 11 straight. It was time for this Flyers team to hit the breaking point. So Flyers head to Anaheim, California, to go Duck Hunting. The Flyers pour their offensive pressure on the Anaheim Ducks from the jump. Flyers were getting good creative shots on the net.

Sean Couturier sets the tone by being at the right place at the right time and getting a rebounded goal. Defenseman Louie Belpedio reaches his second goal of the season. Travis Sanhiem had himself a game on both sides of the puck. Defensively, later on in the first period. Travis Sanihem would make a shot, but then it would hit off Cam Attkison’s pants for a goal. Travis Sanhiem would drive a goal in without brakes as he tumbles over Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal.
Owen Tippet Came to Play
Owen Tippet would play a physical game through two periods of hockey. He was laying some good hits. When the 3rd period came rolling around, he came up huge with two goals—the one goal he took Ducks right winger Frank Vatrano to school. Frank Vatrano was trying to defend Owen Tippet. However, Owen Tippet worked right around him and then found the back of the net. Straight from the faceoff circle, Owen Tippet would receive the puck and take it the other way. Pavel Mintyukov would try to devise a stop, which wouldn’t have mattered. Owen Tippet would beat the coverage and make the empty net goal to put the nail in the coffin.

The Future is Bright for the Anaheim Ducks
The future for the Anaheim Ducks. Leo Carlson, the second overall draft picked, has shown that he can play in the NHL. Leo Carlson would be the Ducks only fighting chance in this game. The Ducks would have a power play opportunity to get on the scoreboard. He would make a goal through traffic. Alex Killorn and Leo Carlson were facing a one-situation. Alex Killorn passed it to Leo Carlson, and he scored a goal. Tic tac toe and Leo Carlson would find the net. Leo Carlson’s 6th goal was recorded, which was the first hat trick of his young career. He has the potential to be an NHL superstar and a cornerstone piece for the Ducks franchise for a long time.
