Flyers Have Win Streak Snapped

The Philadelphia Flyers (21-12-5) went into San Jose to battle the struggling Sharks (17-20-3).

Philadelphia was on a four-game win streak while San Jose was in the midst of a bad streak having won only 1 of their last eleven.

The old adage says, “On any given night” and it held true in this one.

San Jose erupted for a 6-1 victory and a few new budding stars took the forefront.

Time Meier recorded his first NHL hat trick and rookies, Mario Ferrera and Joel Kellman each added their first career goals.

Martin Jones made 26 save for the home team while Carter Hart pushes away 23.
