Flyers Hit By Lightning, 1-0

Patrick Maroon would provide the only goal on a Matt Niskanen failed clearing attempt and the surging Tampa Bay Lightning (27-13-4) held the Philadelphia Flyers (23-16-6) off the scoreboard in a Saturday matchup at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.

Oskar Lindblom was in attendance and received a rousing ovation from the sold-out crowd.

Carter Hart was, once again, on his game stopping 27 Tampa Bay Shots but outdueled by counterpart, Andrei Vasilevskiy who shut out Philadelphia on 23 attempts.

The defeat ended a mini win streak of two games for the home team.
