Flyers Looked Flat Tonight:

The Philadelphia Flyers have now lost 7 out of 9 games. I thought going against cross-state rivals and winning on Saturday against the Calgary Flames. I thought they would play with a lot more energy than only giving the Philadelphia fans one period of hockey. After Egor Zamula finds Owen Tippett with a no-look pass and then Owen Tippett would then makes a nice goal. Carter Hart is doing the best he can trying to survive with the defense in front of him looking lackluster and the same goes for the Flyers offense. They brought nothing to the table. The Flyers need to have their get-right game against on paper an inferred opponent like Montreal Canadians coming in here Wednesday night.

Mike Sullivan came up with a gameplan:

Mike Sullivan (The Pittsburgh Penguins head coach ) has this Penguins team playing a lot better from the last time the Flyers had their last meeting with them. The Penguins have won 5 out of their last 7 games and tonight they just completely outplayed the Flyers on both sides of the puck. The defense was soiled. At the same time, the Flyers were trying to get physical with them. Pittsburgh was picking them apart on offense. Mike Sullivan has multiple Standley Cup championships under his belt and you can see why. He’ll make the right adjustments to get this Penguins club winning.

Evgeni Malkin The Best Player on The Ice:

Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh Penguins center) He was the best player in this game, with Carter Hart focusing his attention on Evgeni Malkin. He makes a backward pass to Rickard Rakell who has an open net scoring opportunity he capitalized on. In the third period, Philadelphia would have Drew O’ Connor against the boards in double coverage and he made a quick pass to Evgeni Malkin and he would cash in for a goal.
