Per a report from Tony Pauline (@TonyPauline), the eagles will heavily pursue a free agent cornerback once the market officially opens. The two corners being named should be no surprise to anyone seeing as how the Birds have been linked to both players multiple times in the past.

Chris Harris, Jr has been connected to the Eagles the past two seasons as a potential mid-season trade target. Howie and the Denver Broncos had an ongoing conversation about acquiring Harris. Ultimately, the price tag was too steep for a “Rental” with Harris’ upcoming free agent status.
Byron Jones is a name that should sound familiar as well. The Eagles leading up the 2015 NFL Draft had a lot of interest in the UConn defensive back. The Eagles coaching staff attended several workouts to watch Jones including Chip Kelly (Yeah, that guy) himself attending Jones’ Pro Day. Dallas drafted Jones at #27 in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Free Agency starts, March 18, 2020 @ 4:00pm
