The Temple Owls Men’s Basketball Team (9-4) ventured into Reynolds Arena to put up a Friday evening challenge for Tulsa (9-5).
Things did not go well for Temple who shot a dismal 7 of 53 from the field and were blown out with a 35-17 halftime deficit.
Tulsa simply wore down the clock and closed out the 70-44 wipeout.
Quinton Rose had 12 points for the Owls with Alani Moore II adding 9.
Tulsa featured a three-headed monster with Jewish Horne (23 points), Brandon Rachel (19) and Martins Igbanu (14) doing most of the damage.
The trio accounted for 21 of the Tulsa 27 field goals.
Temple has never won in Tulsa and drop to 0-6 lifetime.
