Harden Watch ’22. Here we are! Just days away from what we have all been waiting so long for. Which is approximately two weeks(ish). Maybe the hardest and longest two weeks ever. I mean it felt like an eternity. 14 days of hell. Ok enough of me pouring it on thick. But, seriously it took forever. Ok, I’ll get to it. The Sixers debut of JAMES HARDEN.
Although, not officially official yet. Daryl Morey looks to have let the cat out of the bag a little early in a recent tweet (seen below). A photographer made a joke at Harden about moving to his left in a Top 75 Players in NBA history photoshoot this past All-Star weekend. Morey retweeted the tweet with the caption “Find out Friday” and then tagged the Timberwolves. Who the Sixers are playing in Minnesota on Friday. The first game after the all-star break and the earliest we were told we would see Harden on the court in a Sixers jersey.

The bummer of it all is the Sixers start off the second half of the season on the road. First this Friday in Minnesota then Sunday in New York at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. Harden’s first appearance in South Philadelphia won’t even be till next month, Wednesday, March 2nd.
The Sixers finished off the first half of the season with a really impressive win over the Milwaukee Bucks. In which we saw a very animated James Harden offering his wisdom to Tyrese Maxey who is soaking it all up and turning into the player we all want him to become.
The facts are James Harden is a really good basketball. Teamed up with the best player in the league right now in Joel Embiid. The sky is the limit for this team. We are gonna have some fun this spring. Two words we have all been dreaming of over the past decade.
Process. Complete.
Bonus: Sixers sign a BIG
Willie Cauley-Stein is signing a 10-day contract. He played 18 games this season with the Dallas Mavericks before being released on January 15th.
Cauley-Stein played in Sacramento under Sixers assistant coach Dave Joerger.
