Here we go again. Well, that was like pulling teeth. Flyers lose, 4-1. The season of discontent continues with another Flyers loss 4-1 to the New York Rangers. Alex Lyon stopped 20 shots and Oskar Lindblom scored a goal. That sums up the highlights for the Flyers.

Chris Kreider opened the scoring at 6:02 of the first on the power play. Oskar Lindblom matched him with his 7th just :45 later and it was downhill from there. Pavel Buchnevich (1g,1a), Alexis Lafreniere (1g,1a) and Filipino Chytil supplied the offense with Alexandra Georgiev supplying the defense with a 26 save performance.
Backup to the backup, Alex Lyon was not bad and kept it closer than it was with a 20 save game. The second half swoon continues as Philadelphia has dropped to 21-19-7 after a stellar 11-4-3 start. Since February 28 the Fly guys have been grounded with a less than stellar 10-15-4 record and any hope of a playoff appearance took a severe hit since that point.
The roster is locked in so, what you see is what you get. If they follow the month-long pattern, their next game will be stellar. Here we go again.
