Home Cooking Must Be Good as the Phantoms Post Back-to-Back Shutouts

The Cleveland Monsters came into Lehigh Valley to face the Phantoms who were not afraid of Monsters and took a second consecutive 2-0 shutout in American Hockey League action in a Sunday matinee.

The combatants went forth and back for 43:17 before Lehigh Valley lit a lamp courtesy of Cal O’Reilly to put the home team in front, 1-0.

Maxim Sushko doubled the lead at 18:59 in the unoccupied Cleveland net and the shut out was in the hands of JF Berube who turned away 35 Cleveland shots and Monsters netminder stopped 14 of 15 Phantoms chances.
