Is it time to call it a season? Another embarrassment as Flyers get whooped, 8-3 by the Rangers. It’s becoming g clear this is a sinking ship as the Philadelphia Flyers get embarrassed, yet again by the New York Rangers, 8-3.

Mika Zibanjad once again became the second coming of Wayne Gretzky with yet another natural hat trick against the flailing Flyers. Zinanjed has now recorded 14 of his 26 points on the season against the Flyers. How dominant has he been? He has posted 6 goals and 12 assists in the last eight periods against the Flyers.
To add insult to injury, New York scored their eight goals on just 22 shots. Both Flyer goalies felt the wrath with Brian Elliott surrendering 3 goals on 11 shots and Carter Hart taking a huge step back surrendering 5 goals on the 11 shots he faced. On the upside, Captain Invisible, Claude Giroux notched a meaningless goal.
It is now crystal clear that this team will not make any playoffs and a major overhaul is needed. Not just players but, front office. Hint, Hint, Chuck. Fletcher built this house of cards and Coach, Alain Vigneault continues to juggle lines to no avail.
Is this the low water mark? It can’t be be fall from it…even the cardboard fans have stopped attending. Is it time to call it a season?
