As the famous saying of Roman Reigns goes Acknowledge Me. It is truly time to Acknowledge the breathtaking championship run the Trible Chief has been on. In a time where most wrestling fans have a very short attention span. Where they want storyline payoffs fast and not months later, we must acknowledge Roman Reigns has been able to put together a run that has stretched almost 1,000 days. This run has spanned nearly 3 full years. In a time where most champions hold the belt for 3 months 3 years is just unheard of. The fans are now behind this man.

A heel’s job is to make the crowd hate you, and whether it is boos or cheers, the crowd truly lets Roman know their feelings on him. This shows how far he has come because a few years ago, Roman had go away heat. The fans booed him because they wanted nothing to do with him.

Acknowledge The Growth
It hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows for Roman Reigns. Before he was a mega heel getting over by telling the crowd to Acknowledge ME. WWE positioned him as the big-time baby-face good guy. The crowd, however, was not buying this at all. Booing him any chance they could get. Roman won the rumble in Philadelphia as a babyface. The crowd should have erupted in cheers. However, the Philly crowd didn’t cheer. The ruthless Philly crowd was so hot booing Roman that the WWE had to send Dwayne Johnson down to try and claim the fans down. Not even this could work, and the show ended with the crowd booing Roman. The issue was as a babyface Roman felt shoved down your throats. We had no choice in if we liked him or not.

WWE was forcing us to say we like him; he is the big star. One thing wrestling fans hate across the board is being forced to cheer for anyone. Now that he is getting over organically being the ultra-cool bad guy. Leading his Samoan family tree and making people Acknowledge him as the tribal chief. The fans like this and have flocked back to him. The fans who don’t like this, well that’s the point of a heel and Roman is doing his job.
The List Is Growing
This run started all way back at Summer Slam 2020 when he defeated The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. In a triple threat match. The path to dominance has not been easy. This can be seen by looking at some of the names he has beaten along the way. Names like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Goldberg, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre the list keeps going 18 total. This run has been remarkable.

However, this run was supposed to be over at WrestleMania. Everyone was so certain that Cody Rhodes, with his amazing journey of being let go by the company, to coming back to the WWE and winning the title at WrestleMania. Cody was going to finish his story and end the 900-plus day run. At WrestleMania, Cody didn’t win. Roman was victorious, keeping his regions of dominance alive. Over the past almost three years, Roman has been able to capture both world titles. Doing so has caused WWE to create a brand-new belt so others will have a chance to hold a world championship.

How Does This End
As the famous saying of Roman goes Acknowledge ME. It is truly time we Acknowledge him. Where this run goes and how it ends is anyone’s guess. If I had to make a prediction. Roman’s demises come from within his own bloodline family. Either Jay Uso or Solo Sikoa turns on Roman and defeats him for his titles. With that being said, if WWE wants to shoot for a total shock moment. Dwayne the Rock Johnson should challenge Roman at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field for the head of the table. This hypothetical match between the Rock and Roman could go down as one of the biggest matches in WWE history. Regardless of how this story ends on the amazing run for the head of the Table Roman Reigns. One thing is for certain Roman should have earned the respect of everyone to Acknowledge him.
