It’s Time To Move On
What can be said about Jim Schwartz? He Stinks! His Defense? It Stinks! I think we all are in agreement that this “Prevent, Bend don’t Break” defensive scheme is awful, right? RIGHT…
With all of that said, the one thing that gets under my skin above all other is Schwartz’s infatuation with Nate Gerry. Who Nate Gerry you ask? Oh you know him as the LINEBACKER JIM SCHWARTZ PUT ON CHASE CLAYPOOL IN THE DIRE MOMENTS OF YESTERDAY’S GAME. And just in case, Chase Claypool (a Rookie) is who burned the Eagles for 4 scores yesterday and put the nail in the coffin late in the 4th quarter.
Nate Gerry, Stinks. However, for whatever reason, he continues to be shoved down our throats. He played 100% of defensive snaps yesterday. You read that correctly, 100%. Are we just not seeing it? Does Jim Schwartz see something special in Gerry that we just can’t see? The answer is no. Jim Schwartz (among others) can not admit failure when it comes to these players. Sometimes you have to call a duck and duck, Jim.
If this season proves nothing else it should be that it is time to move on from Jim Schwartz. I truly feel he should have let go sooner. But a Super Bowl gained him another year, I suppose. Even though his defense gave up the most offensive yards in Super Bowl history. That is beside the point though.
If Jeffrey, Howie, and even Doug continue to let this play out with Schwartz. It is a slap in the face to us fans. We deserve better!
Jimmy, don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.
