LaSalle Wins in Cakewalk

LaSalle wins in cakewalk victory, 85-65 over Duquesne. Just like the St.Joe’s game, it was Senior Night at storied Tom Gola Arena on the campus of LaSalle University. Like St.Joe’s, parents of players were permitted to take part in the festivities.

The Explorers (9-14) used the emotion to break their 4 game losing streak and dominated the Duquesne Dukes (7-8), by a twenty-point margin, 85-65.

The game was a tight affair in the first half with six lead changes but, LaSalle put it in overdrive in the second half and walked away with 52 points to make the difference.

Jhamir Brickus accumulated 17 points and was helped by a 14 point night from Sherif Kenney. Christian Ray picked up a double double with 14 points and 14 boards. The Dukes were led by Marcus Weathers with his 23 points with Toby Okani and Andre Harris each adding 11.

Neibauer turned his attentions to lacrosse for a few years and does his part, whether podcasting or writing to grow the game. Kevin branched out to his roots and currently provides insight for all Philadelphia teams for Edge of Philly as well as his full-time duties with LaxPhilly.
