After scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to lift SJU over Hobart on Saturday, Saint Joseph’s junior Levi Anderson has been tabbed the Northeast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. This marks Anderson’s second weekly honor from the NEC after being tabbed the conference’s Rookie of the Week back in February 2020. Anderson shares this week’s honor with Merrimack’s Jack Rooney (5g, 1a vs. Mount St. Mary’s).

Anderson, who finished the game with a hat trick, scored the game-winner at the 2:32 mark of overtime to lift Saint Joseph’s to the 13-12 win in NEC action at Urick Stadium. Playing out of the midfield, Anderson split two defenders and buried his shot from eight yards out.
The victory gave the Hawks (5-3, 5-0 NEC) their fifth consecutive win. Saint Joseph’s heads to Bryant (5-2, 3-1 NEC) this Saturday, April 17. Opening face-off is set for noon at Beirne Stadium. Congrats to Levi Anderson.
