It’s the 1992 MILL playoff semi-final game between the Buffalo Bandits and the Detroit Turbos. The teams split their season series 1-1, with both teams winning on the opposing floors.
Detroit finished the season with a 6-2 record, having a bye in the first round. Buffalo, an expansion team, lost their first three games of the year, but then won their next six (including beating the Boston Blazers in round one of the playoffs, to set up this matchup).
For Detroit you have Gary & Paul Gait, as well as Pete Parke carrying the offensive load, while Buffalo countered with Derek Keenan, and Kevin Alexander. The goalie matchup was Ted Sawicki for the Turbos vs. Bill Gerrie for the Bandits.
This game takes place at the historic Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy this game in it’s entirety.
