Late Season match-up between arch rivals. Philadelphia travels to Buffalo for the ESPN Game of the Week. Playoff ramifications are the end result. Buffalo bolsters the highest powered offense and sits in first place. Can the Wings steal one on the road, in the leagues most hostile environment?

No love lost between these two perennial champions.

These teams have won the last four cups, and were going to try and show who was the best.

This game took place at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo.  This packed house was treated to a great show by the biggest stars of the era.

Philadelphia had Gary Gait, Scott Gabrielsen, Tom Marechek, Steve Govett, and Kevin Finneran.  Buffalo answered with John Tavaras, Troy Cordingley, Jim Veltman, Darris Kilgour, and Bob Hamley.

The goaltending matchup was Eliuk vs. O’Toole.

A great chess match went on throughout the entire game with two of the greatest coaches ever… Tony Resch vs. Les Bartley

This game lived up to the hype!

Sit back, relax, and enjoy this game in it’s entirety.
