McDaniels Next Eagles HC? Edge of Philly Sports Network Eagles

Josh McDaniels SHOULD be the Eagles next HC. When and If Josh McDaniels becomes the next Eagles Head Coach. People will be against it. Yeah, we all remember what happened with the Colts and Frank Reich then leaving Philly to become the Colts head coach. Get over it.

“Fans” who don’t want Josh McDaniels to me, are nuts. Yes, he was terrible in Denver when giving his first opportunity as a head coach. However, that was 10 years ago with Kyle Orton under center. You would be horrible at your job as well.

And of course, we all know what happened after Denver. McDaniels the OC of one of the best dynasties across all sports. Belichick, Brady, Super Bowl Rings, enough said.

Josh has worked with and learned from the best. There is no doubt that he has grown as a leader since his stint with the Broncos.

I also seem to remember another hiring that everyone and their mothers were against. Does Doug Pederson ring a bell? The very coach who brought us our first Super Bowl. Yeah, that guy.

All I’m saying is this fanbase has been wrong before and would be wrong again for damning McDaniels before first seeing what he can do given another opportunity. We need to learn from our past mistakes just as much as Josh already has.

I’d rather take a risk on a guy who worked with the G.O.A.T over the past decade than take a flier on someone with a lesser resume.

This is only my opinion. Take it for what it is. An opinion. If Josh McDaniels is the Eagles next Head Coach not only is it a good hire but it the right and best decision for this team.
