2002 All-Star game

North vs South in this National Lacrosse League All star Game played at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

NORTH Teams:

Calgary Roughnecks
Montreal Express
Ottawa Rebel
Rochester Knighthawks
Toronto Rock
Vancouver Ravens

SOUTH Teams:

Albany Attack
Buffalo Bandits
Columbus Landsharks
New Jersey Storm New York Saints
Philadelphia Wings
Washington Power

A who’s who in talent on both sides:

Chris Gill, John Grant Jr., Colin Doyle, Pat Coyle, Shawn Williams, Steve Toll, and Jim Veltman to name just a few on the North team.

Paul Gait, John Tavaras, Josh Sanderson, Kevin Finneran, Gavin Prout, Cam Woods, and Paul Cantabene on the South team.

The starting goalies were Bob “Whipper” Watson for the North vs. Rob “The Blazer” Blasdell for the South.  Dwight Maetche and Dallas Eliuk would also see time in the nets.

Paul Gait was retiring after this game (brother Gary talked him into playing again in 2005 for a while also).

Some incredible displays of talent and skill on both sides in this All-Star game.

Steve Toll would be named the MVP of this game.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy this game in it’s entirety.
