March 20, 2004 – The Anaheim Storm travel east to battle the Philadelphia Wings.
There are no commentators on this recording only the in game host.
The attendance was 13,153 screaming Wings fans.
The Wings were led by Jake Bergey, Tom Marechek, Jeff Ratcliffe, and Keith Cromwell with Dallas Eliuk in net.
The Storm were led by Casey Powell, Teddy Jenner, Shawn Cable, and Ryan Powell with Matt Roik in net.
The Wings were coming off a five game losing streak, and were battling Buffalo and Rochester tooth and nail for the final playoff spots in the east division. Anaheim had just moved from New Jersey that year, struggling mightily with only one win all year.
A side note…the New Jersey/Anaheim Storm was owned by former NBA Superstar Jayson Williams…the same Jayson Williams who served 2 years for manslaughter (2010-2012) for the accidental fatal shooting of his limo driver in 2002.
The team lasted one more season before folding on June 3rd, 2005.
