New York Knicks Wear Out The 76ers

The New York Knicks were looking to keep their good momentum rolling as they put away the 76ers in South Philly for their third straight win. We had a competitive first quarter, but the New York Knicks lit up the scoreboard after that. The Philadelphia 76ers didn’t have an answer for what the Knicks were throwing at them. This was an off night for the Sixers. The Knicks were able to wear out the 76ers.

Marcus Morris had 16 minitues and 0 points, and Dauel House Jr. 22 minutes and 2 points. Nic Batum had 21 minutes and 0 points, and the rest of the bench couldn’t put in 10 points. This game was when the 76ers needed someone to step up outside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. However, the rest of the team folded.

Former Nova Wildcats Rocking The Wells Fargo Center

Four members of the New York Knicks played for the Villanova Wildcats. Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart and Ryan Arcidiacono. This was like a home game for those guys. Both Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo shot well from three-point land with a combine of 8 three-pointers. Jalen Brunson was on fire with 29 points, and in his previous game against the Chicago Bulls, he put up 31 points. Josh Hart didn’t have the high scoring, but he still managed to put up a double-double of 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Miles McBride and Quentin Grimes are more go weapons off the bench for the Knicks, both lighting it up from beyond the arch. Let’s not forget about Isiah Hartenstein with 17 points. He could smell blood in the water. He saw that this 76ers team was showing fatigue, and he made the best of his scoring opportunities in the paint.

The 76ers Need To Bounce Back From This Loss

Tyrese Maxey had a nice game with 27 points and 9 assists. He had a great game driving to the rim. Joel Embiid tweaked his leg in the first quarter but still manufactured 30 points and 10 rebounds. He played extremely well. Kelly Obure Jr. with a soiled 15 points. After that nothing much from this 76ers team. The 76ers need to rebound and find a way to take care of business against the Jazz in Saturday’s game.
