Nittany Lions drop another, 62-61. The Penn State Nittany Lions (7-10) dropped a winnable game to the visiting Nebraska Cornhuskers ( 5-12). A game that Penn State virtually had to have to keep the flame of playoff hopes alive.
Both clubs had balanced scoring with Teddy Allen leading the way for the ‘Huskers with a 14 point game. Kobe Webster drained 13 and was complimented by Trey McGowens and his 10.
Penn State countered with Myreon Jones dumping 18 and Myles Dread with 14. Isaiah Brockington added 11 in defeat.
Missed shots would doom the Lions with Jones missing a reverse layup and minutes later, Brockington missed an uncontested three. Penn State continues their shooting struggles and was an anemic, 9 of 31 from three-point land.
