One more nail in the Playoff coffin for Philly. Bruins dump the Flyers, 4-2 on Tuesday night. One can certainly not fault the effort the Philadelphia Flyers put forth in Tuesday’s battle with the Boston Bruins. Patrice Bergeron lit the lamp three times with the third goal being in the empty net to cap off a game that Philadelphia absolutely had to have.

Jake Voracek and Shayne Gostisbehere picked up goals for the Orange and Black while Brad Marchand scored on the man down for the 4th Boston goal. The story of this one would be Jeremy Swayman. Swayman started his first NHL contest and stole the show.
The fourth string Boston netminder made 40 saves and showed a lot of confidence in the nets. The two Flyers goals came in the second period where Philadelphia peppered Swayman with an eye-popping 25 shots.
It seems Philadelphia will almost have to win every game the rest of the season and hope for help from other teams if they want to participate in the postseason. One more nail in the Playoff coffin for Philly.
