Owls get caught in a Golden Hurricane, 72-66. The Reynolds Center played host to the Temple Owls (4-9) who came to town to wage war against the Golden Hurricanes of Tulsa (10-9).
Tulsa was not in a welcoming mood and blew out of town on the right end of a six point victory. Despite Tulsa only shooting 6 for 23 from beyond the arc, it would make zero difference on this night. Tulsa had four shooters in double digits and were led by Elijah Joiner’s 17 with Brandon Rachal draining 13.
Not to be outdone, Darien Jackson and Austin Richie notched 11 and 10 respectively. Khalif Battle led all scorers with 21 with Jeremiah Williams (11) and Jake Forrester with 10 paced the visitors.
