Phillies Complete Sweep

Phillies complete sweep, 2-1. In what is becoming a good story for Philadelphia Phillies fans, pitching has come to the forefront and the Phils swept the Atlanta Braves with a 2-1 victory on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Back up catcher, Andrew Knapp went yard to give the Phila a 1-0 edge. That would be matched when Travis d’Arnould went deep in the seventh inning.

Alec Bohm (2 for 4) plated Rhys Hoskins to put the good guys up, 2-1. Hector Neris made everyone nervous by surrendering a pair of free passes. He was able to shut the door to keep the impressive pitching in line. Philadelphia denied the two best Braves hitters, Ozzie Albies and Freddy Freeman without a hit in the series (0 for 21). Phillies complete the sweep of the Braves.
