Phillies Crush Braves

Phillies crush the Atlanta Braves, 12-2 in front of a sold-out crowd. The return of Odubel Herrera? Herrera crushed a three-run homer to cap off a six-run first and added a fourth RBI later in the game.

The entire lineup showed up in this one with Jean Segura,  Alec Bohm, JT Realmuto, and Andrew McCutcheon all chipping in with a pair of Ribbies. The strong starting pitching continues with Zach Eflin going 6 2/3 allowing 2 earned runs off 5 hits with 1 free pass and punching out 5. Realmuto crushes his 99th career homer.

The win makes five straight for the Phightins. The Herrera blast was his first since April 2019. Is Herrera the answer in Center Field? He posted the first two-hit game for the position this season. Let see if the Phillies can crush the Braves again. For more Phillies coverage click here.
