Phillies Sweep the Bucs

When it rains, it pours. It was raining baseballs yesterday at the PNC park. Phillies‘ offense was going off big time as the game kicked off with two back-to-back doubles and a hit from Nick Castellanos, who goes for 4 for 5 with 2 RBIs. Then in the 5th, Kyle Schwarber goes yard to mark his 33rd home run. Leading the NL home runs, second in the entire MLB, sitting right behind Aaron Judge, who has 42 home runs. Then little later in the 6th, Alec Bohm launches a homer recording his 7th HR. Phillies sweep Bucs

Great Weekend In The Steel City

Just an incredible game overall by this team. JT Realmuto goes 3 for 5. Alec Bohm’s 15-game hitting game streak might have come to an end on Saturday however it picked back up immediately as he goes 4 for 5 and looking on the side. The pitching has been outstanding.

Totally of 32 Ks in this series. 8 Ks from each pitcher in every game. Zach Wheeler, Bailey Falter, Ranger Suarez, and Aaron Nola. This is great momentum. Having a 5 game winning streak heading into Atlanta. I know The Braves are playing the revenge factor and also coming off a three-game winning streak as well.

Dolans Bar

However, I think if we put Kyle Schwarber in the clean-up role and have Alec Bohm be the leadoff man puts some runs on the board early, and the pitching can carry the same energy, we should take both games then have we face the rebuilding Nats team. We could be in that second wildcard spot. Let go, Phillies! Phillies sweep Bucs
